Biostar introduces faster GeForce 7300 GT graphics cards.

Biostar Microtech, a Taiwan-based manufacturer of motherboards, graphics cards and barebones, announced today the availability of its GeForce 7300 GT-based graphics cards in DDR2 and DDR3 memory versions - the V7302GT21 and V7303GT21. Using Nvidia"s Scalable Link Interface (SLI) multi-GPU technology, the two new products support 256 MB of memory and a 128-bit memory interface.

Bacteria explored as new data storage medium.
Tokyo (Japan) - Researchers of the Keio University Institute for Advanced Biosciences and Keio University Shonan Fujisawa Campus announced development of a "new technology" that enables "long-term" data storage in bacterial DNA. According to JCN Newswire, the scientists were able to create "artificial" DNA that could preserve digital data within their genome sequence.
