Dirt 2 PC Demo Brings DirectX 11 Graphics.

Those with fancy video cards be proud! Got your shiny DirectX 11-enabled Radeon HD 5800 series and you"re itching to stretch its legs? Well then, the newly released demo of Dirt 2 is your best option. While Dirt 2 was released for consoles a few months ago, the wait continues for this still-unreleased PC version. The delay to the PC version was for the sake of graphical enhancements, and if you have a DX11 card, you"ll be able to enjoy some of the new features. Nvidia preps 7900-series cards with HDCP support.
Nvidia will launch upgraded versions of the GeForce 7900 GTX and GeForce 7900 GT graphics cards that support HDCP (High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection) between July and the middle of August, with the cards continuing to be manufactured by Flextronics, according to sources at Taiwan graphics card makers. For mid-range and entry-level graphics processing units (GPUs), Nvidia will offer HDPC support as an option, indicated the sources.
