Fowler Software Design Continues Long Term Relationship with JCO, Inc.

Fowler Software Design is continuing a long standing relationship with JCO, Inc. by providing custom software services, which expanded the number of issues their publication, Sommelier Journal from 8 to 12. DENVER, CO, December 04, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Denver-based Fowler Software Design recently marked eleven years of work with JCO, Inc. by updating their database to do specific reporting, which allowed one of their publications to expand their number of issues. JCO, Inc. launched Sommelier Journal, a magazine written by wine professionals for wine professionals, in 2008. Fowler Software Design provided flexible service to adapt Sommelier"s system to handle the slightly different requirements. More recently, Fowler Software Design updated their database to do specific reporting, which allowed them to expand to 12 issues versus the 8 they previously produced. Business Manager for Sommelier Journal Phil Vogel said that the software and service that Fowler Software Design provided for Sommelier Journal simplified business processes. "The experience was very good overall. People were very responsive and made sure to track down things that may have popped up. It simplified our processes basically just because whatever we need out of our reporting sector or just day to day transactions, we know the program can handle it. We"ll work with Fowler Software Design again in the future." Fowler Software Design first started working with JCO, Inc. eleven years ago when they custom built their subscriber database. "This is exactly the kind of long term relationship we strive for when working with any of our customers," said U.B. Ciminieri, VP of Sales and Marketing. "It"s called custom software for a reason; a process with the natural side effect of creating a relationship that calls for constant interaction between us. The software grows and adapts to our customers" growth and success, and we are there to help them every step of the way as they need it." Vogels said, "Our company has used them forever. Its [custom software] necessary for every publication to be able to achieve its own needs. Sometimes there really is no other option, seeing as it allows us to do the things we need. We"ve never used packaged software."
