SecurityIntel to cut Celeron D prices in February 2005.
Intel plans to cut the prices of its 90nm Celeron D CPUs on February 20, 2005, while keeping the prices of its Pentium 4 CPU lineup unchanged early next year, according to sources at Taiwan motherboard makers.
The Celeron D 320, currently priced at US$69, which runs at 2.4 GHz, will see no price change in early 2005 as Intel plans to gradually phase out this model, the sources noted.
