QOTD: What's Your Favorite PC Game of All Time.

Games evolve along with the hardware that they"re developed on, naturally. However, much of what makes a great game enjoyable, hasn"t really changed too much. Yes, today we"ve got 3D games and touch-based games, online games and everything else. Somehow though, I found myself enjoying games no more than I did when they were all in 2D. Granted, some games are incredible and only possible thanks to faster CPU, GPU and networking technology. Large scale 3D MMOs for example, wouldn"t be possible with slow 14.4 kbps dial-up connections of the past. Yet, the games that grab attention in my memory the most aren"t any of the games available today. Some of mine: - Duke Nukem 3D - Return to Zork - Quake 2 - Unreal - Battlefield: 1942 - Dune 2 - Warcraft 2 - Tom Clancy"s Rainbow Six: Rogue Spear - Total Annihilation However, my favorite old PC game of all time, is Flashback. For those who did play Flashback, you"ll know why. The question of the day is: What"s your favorite PC game of all time?
